My teen is now 14 and I thought it would mean SUMMER JOB!!!! In my haste to get his working papers I applied for a replacement social security card( unnecessary for working papers). Also from the 30+ years since I applied for working papers, teens can get the application from the school’s guidance office for parent’s signature. Once the application is returned the school issues the work permit. Every child’s birth certificate is on file with the school. It’s that simple!!!
I have no memory of the paperwork so when I was handed a 5″x4″ piece of paper my first thought, DO NOT GIVE TO THE MY TEEN!!!! I really think my brain is like a hamster wheel that never stops spinning, my first thought was LAMINATE!!!!
In the past month I have used the FEDEX store for copies(purchased a printer), faxing, and shredding services. My main reason is the ability to use their self-serve equipment. When I need to make copies of documents I usually bring in my flash drive. I have learned customers can download documents from Google drive or Dropbox!!!!!
The laminating self-serve is quick and easy. I purchased a 8.5″x11″ lamination sheet for $2.90. Presto, like magic we now have a laminated work permit to file for easy access.
