My little princess is turning the BIG 6 this week. She was my Thanksgiving delivery! After enjoying my home cooked meal of turkey, cornbread dressing, macaroni & cheese, collard greens, string beans and sweet potato souffle it was off to the delivery and labor at Paoli hospital. The biggest issue for me was leaving my homemade sweet potato pie in the refrigerator! Although my belly was full, my due date was some where around December 14th, so she was a bit early(3 weeks to be exact) if the numbers were crunched correctly. Four hours of a natural labor and delivery, it was worth my dinner interruption.
When I first shopped for her it was everything pink, pink and more pink so what better way to celebrate her birthday then with a Princess Party. Since her birthday is after Thanksgiving and everyone is scare for a birthday celebration, I am planning for a January or February party. For the theme I found some amazing ideas at my new addiction Pinterest! The pins for Princess Parties were endless, here are my top favorites.
Another addiction is subscribing to websites for deals, to name a few Groupon, Living Social, Eversave, etc…..Since my little princess is all about mani and pedi, Living Social featured a company that offers a mobile spa for girls. Smooches, is the company and they offer party packages for up to 8 girls, if you additional children the cost is $15/child.
