It has been eight months since the quarantine and baking is one of my past times. In addition to finding recipes, buying new gadgets for the kitchen is another new hobby. The holiday season is around the corner and I love baking cookies. These were absolutely delicious and then I added vanilla bean ice cream for an ice cream sandwich.

I jumped on the meal delivery bandwagon when Gabriella Lassiter @TheIndependentMompreneur for my free box. This was my first time trying Blue Apron. The recipe is filled with fresh ingredients and lots of flavors. I was surprised to see everything you need for the recipe packed in the box. The box included two meals, 4 servings per meal. I feel like such a FOODIE for making the first meal the same day it was delivered.
One thing I liked about the service is all ingredients are packed in one box. Each ingredient is precisely measured for the recipe. My box was delivered in March when the temperatures were still cold. Based on the ice packs in the box. I would definitely refrain from ordering during the summer months. The smallest size meal is for a family of 4 which is more than enough food for me. My kids are such picky eaters and it was difficult to get them to try either meal.

This is the perfect recipe for any get-together. As I prepared for my 29th Class Reunion get-together at Painting with a Twist, this was ideal for our bring a dish and bottle. If you’re from Philadelphia, you are all too familiar with hoagies. This dip is an Italian hoagie in a serving bowl. It is absolutely delicious.
