“When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade”
What does it me to discover you? This week I read an interview with Nick Cannon and his thoughts on remarrying. His comments made me ponder the idea of remarrying and reveal some of my own thoughts. Honestly, I am enjoying my time of being SINGLE and STILL. There is nothing like having, this time, to discover who I am without having to compromise. I LOVE my alone time because it allows me to listen to what I NEED in this moment. I feel like I am at the helm of takingcare of myself and making creating a space for my physical and mental well-being. There is so much I have discovered about myself in this time and I am wowed each day with who I am as a person. I totally lost sight of the importance of being and knowing myself while I was married. It’s amazing how a major life transition can force you to uncover the strength to overcome various obstacles. I am totally at PEACE with choosing me and taking this time to refine ME. I can relate to taking the time alone and not feeling guilty for wanting to create a good space for yourself. It’s important for me to carve out my future based on what is in my best interest and not according to society’s expectations. I also agree that all lifestyles are not for everyone this is what makes us all unique in our right.
My biggest regret is not taking this time in my twenties to live and be 100% into ME. The world is a big place and I genuinely believe taking the time to discover who you are and fulfilling your dreams is a MUST! I truly believe making major life decisions requires a level of maturity, self-discovery and self-love. This, in turn, creates a space of self-awareness and expectations on what is necessary for your physical and mental well-being. It will also eliminate accepting or settling for less.
