The Best Man hit theaters in 1999. It was one of my favorite movies with some favorite key actors Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Terrence Howard, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan and Monica Calhoun. Well I’m a bit late on November 1, 2012 Universal Pictures released the start of production for the sequel, The Best Man Part 2(no release on the title) . Check out the details at Shadow and Act.
Malcolm Lee will direct the sequel and it is set to open in theaters November 15, 2013. There are no details on the cast lineup but let’s hope some of the original cast is preserved.
How can we forget how things ended with Shelby and Quentin in a rather compromising position? You have to wonder whether Robin and Harper ever walked down the aisle? Did Jordan find her Mr. Right(aka Harper)? Also what became of Candy(aka stripper) and Julian? How many kids does Lance and Mia have now? I will more than likely be in the theater to find out, a good reason for a girls night out!
