I am a #BzzAgent and my latest product review was for Morningstar Farms products. After my last grocery trip to Wegmans, I picked up the the Morningstar Farms Garden Veggie Burgers with my coupon for a free product. Last week, I decided to make the burger for my picky tween. What was I thinking? I truly thought he was would never notice the difference. The meal included baked waffle fries and the garden veggie burger. After the waffle fries were baked, I microwaved the veggie burger topped with American cheese, relish, ketchup and mustard served on a potato bun. When I turned around the plate was empty, my son devoured the burger. Then the great reveal when I told him it was a veggie burger, he was shocked beyond belief.
He enjoyed the burger so much he requested another the next day with the toppings. In addition to the protein and a healthier alternative to a regular burger. I would definitely say two thumbs up from my picky tween eater.
A drum roll is necessary as I finally had a chance to taste the garden veggie burgers, tonight. I love my burgers with toppings so I added cheese of course, ketchup, dijon mustard for a little kick and onions on a potato bun. When I took my first bite I was a bit skeptical on the taste, but it exceeded the wow factor! I was surprised on the texture and flavor throughout the entire burger. My toppings did not mask the flavor from the vegetables infused throughout the burger. The Morningstar Farms Garden Veggie burgers get a two thumbs up from me as well and I would purchase again.
If you are looking for a low calorie and low fat alternative to your regular burger take a walk on the Veggie Burger side.
