EXPERIENCE is a great teacher and not always a welcome guest. It dictates how we grow and it definitely makes you realize what is most important or what should be a priority. I am trying very hard as the light bulb keeps popping on in my head to stop setting expectations now when they were never defined in the beginning. I know now that expecting somone to miraculously morph into the “ideal” person is not how the universe works….I have to with a big bowl of “hold my tongue” &” my mind” learn to channel myself to my “happy place” as it was called by @tomikabryant. I must admit there are so many “happy places”(one in particular comes to mind) I can go with my mind that it may be hard to focus….so if you see me out in the universe and I have a big cheesy smile on my face just know I must be in my “happy place” with a post-it note that reads : DEFINE EXPECTATIONS so even if they are not met no one can ever say they did not know what you were EXPECTING.
