CJ by Cookie Johnson Jeans

I love to promote new products especially African American owned companies. When I first heard about these jeans I assumed the styles were limited to a few styles. Jeans are probably the least favorite purchase because no one pair offers the correct fit for the diverse body shapes of women. For example, my preference is a Gap low rise, boot cut jean. Although I have purchased a pair of skinny jeans which I totally love.

Today two of my mommy friends tried on and purchased the CJ by Cookie Johnson jeans. They reported back the jeans are offered in a number of styles and I assume well worth the price. Her jeans are designed for women with a fit and curvy body…..

Sherri Shepherd’s New Book "Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide to Giving Herself a Break"

I’m not sure about you but I have been a fan of Sherri Shepherd since the ABC sitcom “Less Than Perfect”. I was so elated when I heard she was going to be a host on The View. She brings sugar and spice to the table with a warm and gentle spirit. She reminds me of the friend you can always meet at Starbucks for some juicy spirit filled conversation. Ok, enough of me being an overzealous fan. Her new book “Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide to Giving Herself a Break” is available on 10/5. Also her new Lifetime sitcom, “Sherri” premieres on October 5.
